Perfect for beginners or those who have previously attended a modern calligraphy workshop. This relaxing & festive workshop will focus on creating festive designs alongside writing in a simple modern calligraphy style. I will guide you carefully through the technicalities of using a dip pen & ink, the letterforms & then we will focus on a few beautiful Christmas projects, think gift tags / personalised greetings cards / place cards for your festive parties.
Your kit includes: Straight Holder, Nib , Metallic Ink, Practice Sheets & Christmas projects to complete. This is yours to take home.
Includes tea/coffee
Runs from 2-4.30pm and will be based in Carnoustie. Group sizes are kept small to allow for personalised feedback. If the group is very small it will run from my home studio, otherwise the workshop will be run from Carnoustie Baptist Church Hall, which is lovely venue with free parking & disabled access. I will contact you the week prior to the workshop to confirm which venue to attend.
